Search terms are sent to the connected catalogue only when you choose to open search results. FindQCs does not require an account to browse these guides.
Language preference
The selected language is part of the page address. Changing language opens the equivalent page and does not require a translation service request from your browser.
External pages
Product and category links open another website. Once you leave FindQCs, that website’s privacy practices apply.
Usage analytics
FindQCs uses Google Analytics to measure page views and interactions. Additional events record a catalogue search or a click to a product or category, together with the page language and destination path. The custom search event records whether a query was present and the selected search mode; it does not include the typed search text or product link. Google Analytics may use browser identifiers and cookies according to its configuration and your browser settings.
Your choices
You can use browser privacy controls to restrict cookies and analytics requests. The guides and language links remain available without analytics. When you open the catalogue, its own privacy practices govern the information you send there.
